Primary Mission
The American Leadership Foundation supports programs, events, procurements, entities, investments, and activities which promote leadership development, education, civic engagement, and/or the advancement of democracy, patriotism and American heritage in both youth and adults.
Background and History
The American Leadership Foundation is a domestic not-for-profit public charity recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Tax Code. It was created in February 2019 by friends and alumni of a well-known and long-standing youth program called Oklahoma American Legion Boys State.
The program’s primary activities is to raise funds to support youth programs including, but not limited to, Oklahoma Boys State and other similar programs teaching government, leadership, and patriotism. The funding will be used to pay tuition for program attendees, to buy equipment and services for the programs, and to pay for high-quality speakers and education curriculum aligning with the primary mission of our organization.
